Decorating can be such a challenge at times. Picking out colors that you love not just like can be hard. Once you figure it out you’re happy because you have all these ideas that you want to bring to life. You start to find a few things in the colors but most of the items that you love are not the right color. This can be a little frustrating, especially if you love to decorate. That’s when you have to start thinking of a quick solution if you don’t want to change the colors that you already fell in love with.
My solution of choice is spray paint. It’s an easy way to change the color of something new or refresh the color of something old. It’s so convenient because it comes in some many colors and its budget friendly. It really comes in handy when its fall and you’re looking for spring colors and when its summer and you’re looking for winter colors. I’ve used it for a few things in my home, but I will admit I’m no expert at using it.
My daughter’s bathroom is done in owls. Most of the colors are bright but it has some brown as well. I wanted to tone it down some by putting some solid brown owl decor up. Let me tell you, finding what I wanted was definitely a challenge. I ended up using wooden owls and spray painting them.
I’ve recently used spray paint to update the look of an old Coffee/Tea set. I feel like the new color looks more refreshing than the previous color.

Like I previously stated I’m no expert at using spray paint, but I definitely love how convenient and budget friendly it is. It may not solve all your decorating problems when it comes to wanting or needing certain colors, but it definitely can be a great solution. Have you ever picked out what you thought was the perfect colors for something, but then realized the decoration in that color was rare?
