Every year, for my daughter’s Birthday, I like to do a mini themed photoshoot. This year she welcomes year seven. I had an idea, which she loved, but she also had her own idea. She wanted to do some baking pictures. So here are my simple kids baking photoshoot ideas.
When I think of baking, I think of mix/whipping. Since my daughter is seven, we came up with the idea of whipping into seven. Making a little sign with the saying makes a great add on for the pictures. For your pictures, you can have a sign with wording that works for you.
If you are doing a photoshoot with a theme, it is good to have props. Flour is one of the best things to use during photoshoots like this. It’s something that is normal for a baker to have on themselves. Also many bakers own a rolling pin, so it makes for a good photo prop.
Since the photos are about baking, it is good to have a picture of something being mixed. It’s fun for the kids to do, and it makes for a cute picture. Get a kid sized mixing bowl, whisk, and capture the moment.
Finally, take a picture of your finished product. We used a mini birthday cake from our local store. It was cute, and we didn’t have to wait for it to actually bake. This mini shoot was fun for us! I hope you enjoy these ideas!
